I remember some time ago, televisionwithoutpity did a piece comparing NBC's The Voice with American Idol. Yes, they were right to compare the two, since everyone looked at The Voice as an answer to Idol's popularity, but I believe it's not really fair for The Voice to be have to stand against the ratings king of the last years.
